Signing up for Clubs, Sports and Ensembles - on your daughter's first day, she will attend Clubsfest which will be a chance to find out about the many fun and exciting clubs she can join.  She won't be able to sign up straight away as she won't have a login for SOCs.  All students will be shown how to do this in their second week as part of their orientation.

Information and communications:

Firefly is your platform for all school information.  You’ll need your login details which will be provided once your daughter has started https://whs.fireflycloud.net/parent
Explore it, learn where everything is and link the school calendar to your calendar.  On Firefly you can see your daughter’s live timetable and her past reports. To access this information look for ‘Your Children’ on the menu bar, select your daughter and you can see the Timetable under her profile with a link to her full timetable and links to her school reports.

School Post is the main parent communication channel.  Each week you will be sent a reminder of events coming up the following week (plus a link to the whole school calendar and SOCS for any upcoming sports fixtures) along with any specific Y7 communications. 

SOCs hosts the school calendar and sports fixtures and clubs. Your daughter will be given a login for SOCs in her second week so she can sign up for clubs.

Evolve manages booking for class trips, specific sports trips and music trips. You will receive emails from evolve.notifications@edufocus.co.uk. The subject line will say : ‘Booking Invitation.’ Once you click into a Booking Invitation you’ll see the Trip, the Organizers name and further details.

Parents’ Evenings - in the Autumn Term, you will have the opportunity to meet with your daughter’s Form Teacher in person and  in the Spring Term there will be a round robin style, parent teacher forum with most to all of your daughter’s teachers.  You will be notified when the Parents’ Evening Booking System will open on the School Post and book at https://wimbledon.schoolcloud.co.uk
