The team had a very positive tournament, winning all games to go through to the finals day later in the year.  Here are the details of one of the matches:

Score: Wimbledon High School 6-0 Portsmouth High School

Our final match of the day was against Portsmouth, and we won 6-0; a great result to finish a very successful day of hockey.

It wasn’t our best performance as there was a lack of urgency and we were very tired.

However, there was some great dribbles and passing patterns from Imi, Claudia and Heloise for their goals, as well as a deflection for Kiana and a rebound for Rochelle.

To improve next time, we could have done more transfers and valued the ball more in the D rather than hitting and hoping.

Nevertheless, we played well, despite some people playing out of position, and ended the day with a dominant performance.
