We were very proud to be selected and have two WHSBC crews represent our region (Thames London) this weekend in Nottingham. Imogen L and Scarlett P (Y11) went in the WJ16 2- whilst Aanya S, Arabella K, Iona A, Emily H and Zoe H (Y10) represented in the WJ15 4+.

After a very early start to get to Nottingham, Immy and Scarlett put together a strong performance in challenging conditions during their time trial, placing 4^th and bagging a place in the A Final. Later in the morning our year 10s raced strongly to get 2^nd place in the time trail, also placing them in the A final.

The pair had an excellent row in their final, and placed 5^th in a very quick time amongst a tough field. In the fours final our girls raced a dominant race, pulling away from the pack in the first 200m and continuing to stretch their lead right through to the finish line where they took the win. Incredibly proud of all our athletes that went to race, they produced some very high-quality performances to represent WHSBC.
