We are delighted to confirm that Daisy Le V (Yr 7) competed in the Aland Gymnastics Competition this weekend.   

Åland Invitational is an international artistic gymnastics competition organised annually by Gymnastics Åland on the Åland Islands in Finland. Gymnastics clubs are invited to participate and the competition formats are Easy FIG rules and Modified FIG rules. In the competition there are qualifications, an all around final and event finals. The best six gymnast per apparatus and competition class will go through to finals.

In her competition on Friday she came 2nd out of 82 gymnasts! She also qualified for 3 of the 4 apparatus finals (top 6 from each app on Friday) and won Vault.

Daisy's team also won the team trophy.

What an amazing performance Daisy, well done from us all at WHS.
