And what a great afternoon they had, relived for us by Amelie H, Y7: 

On Wednesday, four girls from year 7 represented Wimbledon High in the Surrey Tennis League. The event was only doubles and our tennis B team won the tournament - though ending with a nail-biting shoot off with Putney. Amelie, Maggie, Philipa and Nina all played phenomenally and their efforts did not leave them unsuccessful. These four year 7's will be advancing to the next round of the Surrey Tennis League, where they may be facing other girls from their year. Many thanks to Ms Cutteridge, Ms Coutts-Wood and all the other amazing staff which made this day possible
