The overall score was 3-1 to WHS

As a team we played generally well making lots of good passes.

June played exceptionally well in defence she tackled many players and was then able to pass the ball up to midfields and forwards.

Elysia and Sienna D played midfield and forward . Scoring all of our goals they had to leave mid way so they were not able to play the whole match.

Derin played defence. She intercepted many passes between the opposing team and made very good passes to get the ball up the pitch. She was player of the match at the end.

Together as a team we should work on keeping the ball on our stick when dribbling to stop the interceptions. We should also work on making stronger and more accurate passes.

U12B1

The match ended with 2-1, to Reigate Grammar. Although we lost, it was a great game, and everyone contributed amazingly.

During the first half, no goals were scored, although both teams tried to get close to the goals. The first goal of the match was scored shortly after half-time, in the second half. It was a Reigate goal, bringing the score to 0-1.

Wimbledon, tried everything to score, but we were unsuccessful in our next few attempts. Another shot at the Wimbledon goal, made everything a bit more intense, especially as it brought the score to 0-2.

Another hit at the goal from Reigate, but Wimbledon goalie, Alex, showed grit and determination, as she dived at the ball, knocking it off the pitch. Just in the last few seconds, as all hope is about to be lost, WIMBLEDON SCORE!!!

Overall, we worked very well together, until the very end, and this was evident with our goal. This was a true team goal, despite it being in the last few seconds, after everyone was drained.

Although, at the start, we were a bit hesitant with taking shots at the goal. I think Wimbledon’s passes were high quality, its just, we could try harder to tackle our opponents, for the ball. Everybody showed amazing team spirit, and took this as a team loss, which is very important for succeeding in future fixtures. So… despite us losing 1-2, everyone tried their hardest.

U13B2

The overall score was 3-1 to Reigate

As a team we played better in the first half as we only conceded one goal.

Sabrina I played exceptionally well in defence she tackled many players and was then able to pass the ball up to midfields and forwards.

Anoushka S played midfield and forward and score the goal in the second half of the game. She was able to get the ball on target but make passes if needed. She was player of the match.

Gabby A Mc played defence. She intercepted many passes between the opposing team and made very good passes to get the ball up the pitch.

Together as a team we should work on not losing the ball when being pressured by a defender and we should make our passes faster and more powerful to make it harder for the ball to be intercepted.

U12C1

We played against Reigate Grammar School; and we lost 3-2 but played well despite the score. Clara B and Naya O-A (who was awarded player of the match) played defence very well deflecting lots of balls and stopping RGS from scoring.

Anoushka K-B was a really good goalkeeper and saved lots of potential goals. Despite this I think we need to work on our defensive skills.

We had a strong attack with Ellie D, Amy W, Lilia K and Kyla S-T rotating between forward and midfield, we got into space well and once we got a turnover the ball moved down the field to their D swiftly with Amy scoring both our goals.
