The overall score was 3-1 to WHS

As a team we played generally well making lots of good passes.

We started off strong and made some very good transfers across the pitch (which we had been working on) which resulted in a great early goal from Imi.

As the game went on, Priors Field played many strong hits down the pitch which we sometimes were not able to defend. This led to a goal from them.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable game and we played well. We are going to work on making sure we are defending the centre channel as a priority and passing early.

The C Team faced an intense match against Claremont Fan Court yesterday, showcasing their grit and determination despite a narrow defeat with a final score of 12-14.

The game was a game to show their skill, teamwork, and unwavering effort throughout. From the opening whistle, both teams came out strong, displaying exceptional defensive strategies and fluid offensive movements. The C Team showcased remarkable coordination and communication, swiftly moving the ball across the court and creating scoring opportunities.

The first quarter was fiercely contested, with both sides exchanging possession and attempting shots at the net. The C Team's defence was solid, putting pressure on Claremont Fan Court and minimizing their scoring chances.

We started off strong with even sided play for the majority of the first half.

However, we were unlucky to concede late in the first half as we were left with minimal defenders on their break. We went into the second half strong with good team play from everyone.

Due to a few injuries and miscommunications from the team we found ourselves on the wrong side of a few short corners. Amelie got a late goal to put us on the board. Well done to all the girls who pushed hard to the end but unlucky to finish 5-1.

We played really well today, our passing into space and ahead of each other allowed time for us to transfer and create space to enter passes towards the oppositions goal.

Our short corners were mostly great, but sometimes they didn’t go to plan and we managed to let go of a few easy goals.

Our transfers were really good, with one going from the top right corner of the pitch to Henny, Saskia then Stella.
