Day of Dance

On Monday 1st December, 5 students in year 11 and 13 had the opportunity to attend the GDST day of dance. We did 3 classes, first Theatre Jazz taught by a member of the West End cast of Hercules and Wicked alum, learning some of the real west end choreo from Wicked! We then did a commercial jazz class, which was challenging but so much fun nonetheless. Our final class was a contemporary class with Ella from the next step which was my personal favourite class. We received some advice from them afterwards, mostly to enjoy dancing, and that dance will always love you, even if the industry does not as well as helpful audition advice.

Y7 Xmas Netball

To finish the term in true Wimbledon High style, our Year 7s took to the netball courts for a Christmas Special Netball Festival! With festive headbands, big smiles, Christmas tree lights and plenty of holiday energy, the girls threw themselves into an after-school session full of fast-paced matches, teamwork, and great sportsmanship.

Each team brought brilliant enthusiasm, but one squad truly sparkled… A huge congratulations to Team Christmas Tree, our 2025 champions!

Well done to all players for making the session such a memorable and joyful way to end the term. The future of WHS netball is looking very bright!

Hampton Head

Saturday saw WHS rowers from J15's to J18's racing across two divisions in different small boat combinations. For some this was their first time racing in singles and doubles so it was really great to see such strong results!

We came away with an array of silver and bronze medals so well done to all girls that raced.
