Mia F (Yr 10) Gymnastic update

We are delighted to confirm that Mia and partner finished 7th in the UK's prestigious Pat Wade European Qualifiers recently.

Not only are gymnasts viewed by the judges, also in attendance were the GB selection coaches, which added to the pressure.

They were drawn against 14 entered pairs in their grading so what an achievement to come 7th.

Many congratulations Mia, we are so pleased to hear of your achievements outside of school.

Quintin Head Rowing Races 25 January 2025

This weekend, our J15s, J16s, and seniors raced in eights at Quintin Head on the Tideway.

It was a great first race of the year with some solid results. The J15s finished third, just 1.29 seconds off first place.

The J16s placed 8th, and the senior’s placed 15th in their respective categories.

Maya G (Yr 8) Squash update

We are delighted to confirm that Maya recently competed at the at the Gloucestershire open squash event.

Maya played in the U15 age group, rather than U13, and made it to the semi final,  losing to the player who is the England U15 no.2 seed.

Throughout the tournament Maya beat both the England U15 no.6 and no.7 seeds, to progress, and  had never beaten these players before, so what an amazing achievement.

Lily O'K (Yr 8) Gymnastics update

Lily competed with her trio from Tolworth Gymnastics Club in Hastings at the Hollington Acro competition. They came first in their category (out of 14) and also scored the highest overall score for the afternoon session - hence the shield!

Congratulations Lily and her team, what a great achievement.
