Please see this wonderful report from Layla, congratulations from us all at WHS!
Just before Easter holiday, I found out I was selected to be a part of the Great Britain Women's Artistic Squad. I could not believe it and felt so honoured, grateful and excited to have this amazing opportunity!
During my Easter break, I went on my first overseas gymnastics assignment and competed in an international competition in Slovenia with my gymnastics club. I competed against gymnasts from other European clubs and national teams. As a team we came 1st overall and individually I came 3rd All Around overall and also 3rd in Bars. It was such a great experience.

Mia and partner Pippa had their last, and biggest, competition as a Women’s pair
this weekend, after three amazing years together.
They competed at the British Inter regional finals, in the Aspire grade and wonderfully gained a Bronze medal finish, as
representatives for the South East Region.
Everything changes next season. It will see Mia competing in
the Women’s Group category and her first international competition (in Paris)
in October.
What a wonderful end to a brilliant partnership, well done Mia (and Pippa), we cannot wait to hear how things progress in Paris.
