Nicole and her Eagles Netball Club came third in the National Clubs competition this weekend – placing them third in the country.
They had a successful day on Saturday, winning all four games. On Sunday they narrowly missed out on the final to Oldham, who went on to win the competition.
They did however win their next match, putting them through to the 3rd/4th place play off, which they won!
We are delighted to confirm that Daisy Le V (Yr 7) competed in the Aland Gymnastics Competition this weekend.
Åland Invitational is an international artistic gymnastics competition organised annually by Gymnastics Åland on the Åland Islands in Finland. Gymnastics clubs are invited to participate and the competition formats are Easy FIG rules and Modified FIG rules. In the competition there are qualifications, an all around final and event finals. The best six gymnast per apparatus and competition class will go through to finals.
On Wednesday 14 May the Y7 to Y9 competed in the Road to Wimbledon High School Internal Tennis Tournament.
All played with competitive spirit and enthusiasm – a well done to them all!
The U14 played in the Surrey League vs. Surbiton High School, St Catherine's School and St George’s College and won against all schools. Well done to the team!
Our U13A Football squad travelled to Ardingly College on 2 May to compete in the Southeast qualifiers.
I am delighted to confirm that our team progressed through to the finals and therefore qualified for Nationals at St George's Park, Staffordshire - the training ground of the England Football team!
This is a first for Wimbledon High School, congratulations to the squad on their achievement.
