Wimbledon High C team came out 3-1 winners in a tough fought match against Tiffin's C team.

The game was dominated by 2 strong defensive performances and some missed chances in tough shooting conditions, due to the wind.

Eliza was given player of the match by Tiffin for her great performance in the middle of the court.

The E team played exceptionally well on Saturday, with an amazing score of 28-0! We played brilliantly with accurate passes and few errors. Izzy L, Olivia M, and Isabell C played well attacking and generally, everyone played amazingly. We thank St Johns for letting us play.

Our U12 D team played brilliantly on Saturday against St Johns Leatherhead winning 27-7! Everyone showed great sportsmanship and enthusiasm. We worked outstandingly well as a team despite the frosty weather. Our shooters were very persistent, working well around the circle getting in lots of goals for our victory.

Our Centre-Court players played strongly and were a huge part of making the match a success. Our Defenders on the other side of the pitch were constantly intercepting and batting in-coming balls away from St Johns. The team worked fabulously together, listening to coaching and feedback. The match was very well played and was an extremely enjoyable game for everyone! Well done!

I think we did very well on defense/shooting in the D/top third.

However, we need to work on driving into space rather than passing behind a marker. This means that we could transition from defense to attack better and provide the shooter with more opportunities.

We definitely improved this over the course of the match but it would still be good to work on it.

The score was 23-6 to us and all our team worked very well together.

The shooters were outstanding and worked well in the D and just outside to move the ball into an attacking position.

The defenders were excellent at grabbing the rebounds especially towards the second half.
