Despite the rain and wintry weather, our team of WHS Cross Country runners delivered fantastic results this week. Here are the details:
Huge congratulations to the U14 swimmers who were crowned GDST champions today at the Guildford Spectrum. A great performance from all WHS swimmers from U11 to Senior squads, well done all!
We are delighted to share the news regarding Eloise's recent gymnastics success:
On the 12 January - Swifts Acrobatics Gymnastics Competition (Sittingbourne, Kent) - 1st Place (Gold Medal) in Grade 4 Women's Group (trio).
In the last netball match of the term, we are delighted to confirm that our U16A squad won their round of the Sisters n Sport competition to progress through to the Quarter Finals in January.
After a slower start in the match our WHS netballers composed themselves to win all quarters and beat North London Collegiate School 27-13.
We travel to Roedean School in Sussex for our quarter final match.
We were so pleased to hear that Agnes was selected to be part of Team GB this year, here is a report from her competitions:
After selection I attended an international Cadet U17 competition in Klagenfurt. I came 81st out of 300 but I was annoyed by my final bout, fencing against an Italian athlete - I knew I could do better!
Two weeks ago, I also competed at a national Cadet competition where I came 5th so I was very happy with this result.
