Near the end of the third quarter, the score was very close, and the quarter finished in a well-battled draw. The last quarter was extremely intense, we worked super hard driving towards the ball and were able to secure one final goal, winning the match 21-20

First of all, what a great match from everyone in the B team. Everyone played so well against a challenging team. In the end the score was 32-6 to Wimbledon high with some excellent goals from our shooters.
A highlight would definitely be the last-minute goal from Alisa. Congratulations to Henrietta for getting player of the match, it was so well deserved. Henrietta made some great interceptions and defended amazingly throughout the match.
We all showed such effective communication and teamwork. I think next time we should work on keeping a good pace and not rushing. Overall, it was a great match and both sides played so well.
The final score of the match was 2-1 to WHS.
Sienna D scored both goals in the second half.
The player of the match was Eve D.
The U13 A1 Hockey squad commenced the London in2 hockey competition with an unbalanced start, losing 1-0 in the first match, with a brilliant play from the other team however, we were fortunate to have been able to start the day with the sun shining strong.

Moving into the second quarter, Wimbledon came out hard and were able to score goals against Walthamstow, however, it wasn't enough to be beating them yet - ending the first half with the score 17-14 to Walthamstow.
During our half time talk with Ms Cutteridge and Ms Fowler, we were able to regain our focus on our strong, hard drives and our communication as a team.
