Doing Wimbledon ball girl training so far has been an incredible and utterly unique opportunity. It feels like such a privilege to be part of such a competitive program, and it is so rewarding to put so much effort into it, knowing that hopefully we could be part of one of the world's greatest tennis tournaments come July. The training is very intense and requires 100% concentration, effort and commitment at all times, and despite the fact it is often very tough and there are a lot of nerves before each session, it makes it all the more gratifying when an instructor notices all the hard work that goes on between sessions. It is a truly once in a life time opportunity that I will never forget, and has already taught me so many important life lessons along the way, as well as being a lot of fun!

The Ball-girl training was not what I expected but at the same time I didn’t know what to expect. It’s nothing like anything I had done before, and you can take away many skills from the process. The training includes a lot of running, a lot of exercises and you learn all the skills you need to perform well on court. Some sessions are tough and you’re under quite a lot of pressure, but we just try our best to power through and you have a lot of fun along the way. There is training every week until the championship starts, it is quite vigorous but it’s worth it at the end of the day as you get to be a part of something so well known around the world.
