Today, the under U13A faced Putney High School in a very tight cup game.
We started strong with our bowling, there were a couple of wide balls given but we managed to keep them sub-100. Many thanks to Caitlin, our Y7 wicket keeper, for stumping four people out. Occasionally there was a run out or someone being bowled and we took six wickets.
Our battling started slowly, with an early loss..... regardless, we continued. With 8 overs to go, we were optimistic about the outcome but unfortunately lost a few wickets to bowling or stumping.
In the end, we lost by only 26 runs, all out. Lots to work on moving forward, but a great effort by all.
