This Wednesday afternoon, we played against Ibstock Place. Despite the cold, grey weather, we managed to win 7-1!
The match began with Heloise dribbling past the opposition towards the goal which ended up resulting in a short corner and deflection! Then, motivated by our fast start proceeded to score another goal.
Unfortunately, on one of the few short corners which the other team received, they did score a goal, however, we made a rapid comeback with two consecutive goals. One of which included Ellie's much deserved first goal of the season (this does not include those she scored in shuffles and penalty flicks)!

The overall score was 3-1 to WHS
As a team we played generally well making lots of good passes.
We started off strong and made some very good transfers across the pitch (which we had been working on) which resulted in a great early goal from Imi.
As the game went on, Priors Field played many strong hits down the pitch which we sometimes were not able to defend. This led to a goal from them.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable game and we played well. We are going to work on making sure we are defending the centre channel as a priority and passing early.
