Layla, competed in some top level competitions recently, here is a report of her achievements recently:

- Emmanuel Cup (national competition in Leicester) – 2nd (Silver) All Around, 2nd (Silver) in Bars plus special Judges Award for Vault.
- Tolworth Club Championships – 2nd (Silver) All Around
Over half term we had rowers from J14-J16 competing in the trials for the inter-regional team.
The girls had to win their races to gain selection.
All our rowers raced extremely well and really showed just how strong we are as a squad.
On Sunday, our Senior rowers raced at Hammersmith Head on the Tideway. The weather meant that unfortunately our J15's and J16's were unable to race, so we just had our Senior 8+ representing WHS.
What a half term Maya had last week, she competed in both the European Super Series in Hamburg and the French Open Junior competition in Lille.
Not only did Maya compete but she won both tournaments! What an achievement.
In Lille, Maya beat the French no.1 in the quarter finals, the Swiss no.1 in the semi-finals (who was also the top seed for the event), and then the no.1 from Jordan in the final.
We are delighted to confirm that Darcy P and Heloise K, in Year 12 and Saskia P in Year 11 have been chosen to represent the GDST Select Hockey team this season, congratulations to them all.
All played in the recent match against the Women's Army team. The game ended 3-3 in a tightly contested match, Darcie captained the squad and Heloise scored a goal. Miss Arch attended the match and said you all played brilliantly.
Well done, amazing to see WHS representing GDST.
